You Have the Right to Experience Happiness in Your Life,
and Now It’s Never Been Easier…
Finally,
A Way For You to Be Happy
and Stay Happy!
An important message about your future from Ricky Powell…
Happiness.
The dictionary defines it as “pleasure, joy, exhilaration, bliss, contentedness, delight, enjoyment, satisfaction.”
The truth is, we all define happiness differently.
Your meaning may be completely different from your spouse, friend or neighbor.
The bottom line is that we all want to be happy, whatever that definition is for each of us. We are all looking for it, every moment of every day. It’s no wonder that “the pursuit of happiness” is one of the most famous references in the Declaration of Independence.
So, if we’re all looking for it, why is it so elusive?
Why do we desperately seek it in so many ways yet so few of us ever find it on a consistent basis?
If happiness is something we all treasure, why not make it easier to access?
I’m Ricky Powell and I’ve pondered these and other questions for years, and discovered that true happiness lies in the sum total of our experience in the present moment.
Because of this, I’ve put together a community of people who are all seeking and finding happiness in their own ways—every moment of every day.
Introducing
The Masterminds of Lifelong Happiness…
Now there’s a place where people meet to study happiness and put it into practice in their lives; a refuge from the daily grind of negativity; a place to feel connected and inspired, and yes, happy.
What Makes You Happy?
That can be a tough question for some people, which is why we examine it and find real world answers to it in the Masterminds of Lifelong Happiness.
You may already be well aware of what makes you happy and the problem is accessing it more often, or maybe you don’t really know what it is that brings you true happiness. Either way, this group is for you.
We’ll examine:
What goes into being happy How to practice being happy on a daily basis How to harness the power of gratitude more consistently How to make happiness a habit How to be a more generous person How to be less anxious and stressed How to be happy on a more profound level ..and much more!
Keep in mind that this is not an ebook, printed book, audio or video. It’s not something you download or read once and forget about a few days later.
This is different.
This is a way to discover how to be happy and stay happy, which really is one of the secrets to a more fulfilled life—something we all want but very few actually attain, no matter how hard they may try on the surface.

I Know What Happy Feels Like...
I Know What Sad Feels Like...
HAPPY IS BETTER!
I am fortunate to have inherited just the right combination of genes from my parents, and I have also been blessed with a life which has made me very proud.
From the age of four, I had my mind set on being an actor. I became friends with a boy who was already on a TV series at the time, and his dad helped me get an agent. I was lucky enough to enjoy a career that spanned almost 12 years.
I worked on several TV shows, commercials and had small parts in a couple of movies. I was privileged to have worked with such legends as Edward G. Robinson, Bob Hope, Henry Fonda, Ron Howard and Tom Cruise.
After graduating from college, I worked in Post Production at Witt/Thomas/Harris on Emmy Award winning shows like The Golden Girls and Empty Nest. I began viewing the shows at NBC each week to make sure all was well with our Network delivery.
In 1990, I made the transition to NBC and have been there ever since. For the past 20 years, I have worked on virtually every show that airs on the Network.
One thing that contributes greatly to my happiness is my family. My wife and I are about to celebrate our 18th Wedding Anniversary and we have two wonderful kids that we adore.
CRITICS... REST ASSURED:
My Life Has Not Been
One Giant Bed of Roses!
It would be quite understandable for someone to read all the information above and think, "Of course this guy is happy, he hasn't known a day of misery in his life!"
That, my friend, would be a very wrong assumption!!
I have had my share of pain and sadness. From my older brother running away from home, never to return, when I was just 4 years old... to my parents divorcing when I was 13.
Then came the most devastating day of my life. My best friend throughout high school, college and into professional life suddenly died of a congenital heart defect at the age of 23. This caused pain, the likes of which I had never known.
Several years ago, I lost my mom who had battled cancer for years and then my dad who suffered from Alzheimer's in his later years.
One other thing you should know. I nearly lost my own life during the Summer of 2007, when I was rushed to the hospital by ambulance due to becoming violently ill. I was misdiagnosed with food poisoning and sent home. After walking around for two weeks with a dull pain in my side, I went back to the clinic to find that I had been living with a ruptured appendix those two weeks, and after emergency surgery, spent the next six days in the hospital. I am VERY lucky to be alive!
Friends, I share this with you, not because I want your sympathy. I share it because I want you to know that you have my empathy. I understand that we all have varying degrees of bad things that happen. However , the simple choice of how to respond to these things can make the difference between a rich and fulfilling life of happiness... or an empty existence of just surviving.
Over the past several years, I have taken a much deeper interest in the subject of happiness. I would be honored and grateful to share with you everything I have learned on my journey.
I truly believe the world would be a better place if there were more happy people in it. I think that if more of us took the time to learn the keys to happiness, we would begin to see many more positive things happen all around us. The choice is yours... SURVIVE OR THRIVE!!

"I really loved the message from Tom Muha about the journey of life. It was a much needed encouragement as the current path I'm traveling has been challenging. This message helped remind me to focus on the rare lessons such a path can teach, and to stop questioning my decisions since I can't go back and do it over--- I need to keep going forward =) and I hope you continue to do what you do-- your e-zine is a refreshing change from the doom and gloom that is so prevalent in the other media outlets. I wish you much continued success."
Hedda
"Thank You So Much for reminding me about the meaning of happiness through your e-mails every week!"
Laura
"I watched a few videos and they helped me put on a smile which was greatly needed. I would like the "laughing baby" to remain on my desktop as a screensaver. Simply delightful. The one I most enjoyed, however, in the "happiness lite" section, where the two friends talking about dating practices. Lots of wisdom for the 50's! I'm so grateful that Thomas Herold (Dream Manifesto) gave me the link to your site. I think I'm going to write him a note this instant just to thank him and by the way, "THANK YOU!"
Jocelyne
"Ricky, I love getting your emails! They are so FOCUSED and upbeat! Thank you for them!"
